Most Preschools believe that early childhood education should be based on theories of child development. My own belief is that while knowledge of child development is necessary, for practicing teachers, it is not sufficient. At a delicate nurturing age, in addition to a child’s biological, intellectual, and emotional development, one should also pay close attention to sociological and cultural factors. At GR Montessori School we have taken utmost care to provide a healthy environment for not only sociological and cultural interactions, but also for psychological and intellectual interactions.
